I compose 'contemporary' music - music that has been influenced, I suppose, by several late twentieth century styles. I'm particularly keen on writing for the , but I've also written and pieces for . Whatever I'm writing, I think players' skill and virtuosity of ensemble make for good entertainment, and I'm interested in creating clear formal structures.
